Here's what I don't get.

Normally, I don't side with PETA on things because normally, they're fucking idiots. They do stupid shit like chastise people for using animals that they know nothing about. But, this videoclip comes from PETA, so hey, sometimes they get the word out on useful things.

I get wanting to wear fur, kind of. It is pretty. It is soft. And, when comes to using animals as clothing, as someone who loves leather, I have no moral high ground. But, when it comes to fur, I have rule. If I'm living in Mongolia in a Yurt, I can wear it. Aside from that extreme and bizarre situation, its too decadent for me. There are warm synthetics out there.

I get diamonds are shiny and that some people think foie gras is tasty. Good on ya. Here's what I don't get. In that video clip, they are skinning a live animal. That's cruel. Fucking kill it first. It won't live without its pelt anyway, is it really that much better to skin it while its still trying to wiggle around in its fur? And, even if it is, I don't care. Be the better person. Be a little humane. I mean, for fuck sake. Have a little compassion.
